This guy is the most unprofessional person I’ve ever met. I was referred to him by a friend. Unfortunately, my experience was identical to all the other bad reviews. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before trying to use him to do my taxes. After 3 months of excuses, constant lies, not returning phone calls or answering his phone, I went to another tax preparer and discovered my taxes were never filed by Mike. After all of that he still continued to lie through his texts messages. I went to his house to get all my paperwork from him and he wouldn’t come to the front door. If I could give 5 negative stars it wouldn’t be enough. Don’t ever use this guy unless you want the same experience I had as well as the previous 4 reviewers. I will be reporting him to the IRS.

He is very unprofessional, disorganized.We came to him on a referral from a friend at the early part of February of this year.After he clamied he did our taxes and we paid him the fee he began to give us the run-around,always saying one thing but never would give us the right information and always came up with an excuse as to why we didn't receive our confirmation email from the IRS.The system he uses is simply TURBOTAX . Evertime we called to to question him on the excuses etc he came up with more excuses.We finally got ahold of a representative from the IRS and was informed that our taxes were rejected on his end .So we requested our money back from him and all our paperwork etc.Do not use him and I will be reporting him to the IRS.

This individual is an incompetent lier that is only consistent about being inconsistent. He will make every excuse on why he didn't put forth an effort to do what he claims he will get done. I had to constantly follow up with him due to his never doing so and after several failed promises he just stopped returning messages or calls until I had someone else call under the pretense of doing thier taxes, then he called immediately He would never call back before or send information regarding my taxes when he claimed he would. This man wasted my time, not to mention my money and is a shame to this profession. If there was a negative star rating, then he would have the highest negative rating.

Whatever you do...DO NOT use Mike Austin for your tax guy! He does not return calls, texts or anything else. He was paid in full for services and has yet to do what he is suppose to do. What little he shows to have done had all the wrong birthdays, socials and people! He always has excuses for everything and when he runs out of excuses and just doesn't answer the phone! Also the man has filed bankruptcy so not sure letting someone handle your funds that can't even handle his own is a good idea!!! The only reason he gets 1 star is because I can't put none!!!

Do not use for your taxes. Never filed and didn't return calls. Has been reported to.IRS for fraud.
