BEWARE! I am not one to leave bad reviews, but this is ridiculous. Kelly Pittard was recommended to me through Cherokee Connect on Facebook as a tax accountant for mine and my husband’s 2024 taxes and she completely dropped the ball. I reached out to her MANY times from April 15th 2025- November 6th 2025 checking on our taxes. She told me she has us on extension. I was extremely patient with her until the tax extension date of October 15th. She then stopped replying to text messages / not answering calls and told me she would call us and never did. I’ve seen learned she has done this to many other people.

STAY AWAY!! I reached out to Kelly to prepare taxes for two of my business and she completely dropped the ball! Friday before tax deadline told me she would need to file extensions (after I followed up for an update repeatedly) and that she would complete them after taking a vacation through May 1. When I asked her for copies of the extensions on 4/16 for my partners, she stated she was on vacay until May 1, which is completely unprofessional. Upon seeking another referral for someone to assist in the meantime, from a community FB page, I received over 20 messages from people she did the same thing to. Once I found a new preparer I discovered she never filed extensions!! She uses free tax software and creates log ins for people and files on their behalf as “self prepared”. She lied, in writing, about being registered with the IRS. I’m highly concerned about her having our information. Stay away from this woman!
