I read the comment concerning Misty Clarke. Unfortunately Mrs. Brown your information is not correct. I filed my taxes there as well. Misty Clarke was totally honest about the delay with the bank and the her ability to print out checks. The company that she worked for had an employee that cashed a customer check fraudulently and as a result the bank put advanced identification measures to protect us from the same issue. The day my taxes were released she advised me that the bank was holding my check and in order for them to release it I need to send in proof of identification, proof of residence and a second form of identification. Once verify they mailed my check in 5 business days. This had nothing to do with Ms. Clarke. This was just an unfortunate situation. I didn’t get my refund when I expected. But I did receive it once the bank verified my information.

This tax preparer was unprofessional about the service she provided. I had my taxes done January 28, 2020 by Mrs. Clarke. I called March 2,2020 to see why haven't i received my taxes and she then informs me that on February 26,2020 when she was printing the checks that mine was being held by the bank. I hadn't received a phone call or nothing from Mrs. Clarke before I called in March to inform me that I wasn't going to receive my taxes. She then tells me to send in my information so she could fax it to the bank but she didnt inform me that they wouldn't take the black and white copies that she sent. So when I finally got the copies sent in myself after 2 weeks, the bank informs that this tax preparer doesn't bank with them and that this was the reason for them holding my tax return which they still are holding and its April 15, 2020. I was also inform that they are several of us who filed with her and they are in the same situation. This is unprofessional and rude because now when i call she is never in the office even though i know she doesnt care about helping because she has already been paid but not me. It is to inform others of this whole situation and be careful and mindful of who we let file our taxes. I only rated her a one star because I had to in order to submit this.
