They missed one of our tax documents from our 2014 taxes. We received a notice from the IRS showing that we owed another $3500.00 (plus or minus). Lori agreed to review the bill from the IRS along with our documents and told us to drop them off in the DeWitt, IA office. We did this on June 19th. My husband and I told her the bill was due back to the IRS on July 14th and that time was off the essence to get them back. We wanted to make sure it was a legitimate bill and that it wasn't a scam. The first thing she did was questioned why the document that was missed wasn't stapled together with the rest of the documents. We have dealt with this same company for over 20 years and had never had a problem before and never worried about everything being stapled together properly. I told her I only wanted to make sure the bill was correct and legitimate. She said it was and that she would get it mailed back out to us that same day. That was July 29th. She quit returning our calls on July 1st and has yet to return our tax documents. Those are our personal documents and need to be returned to us by law. We don't even have the bill that the IRS sent us. She kept everything.
