Scam from Waterman Realty and Tax - Owner: Trevor Waterman. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Trevor Waterman at Waterman Realty and Tax. He has defrauded me of over $10,000. I entrusted him with $6,000 for my state and federal tax payments, which he never submitted, resulting in late fees and penalties from both the IRS and the state. Additionally, I paid $2,260 for immigration paperwork for my son and $960 for my own citizenship application, none of which were filed. Lastly, I paid $540 for tax prep services, which were not done correctly. Since May 2024, Mr. Waterman has repeatedly promised refunds, claiming, “by Friday,” yet every Friday comes and goes with no resolution. I’ve incurred additional fees due to his unprofessional handling, and I know of two other clients and businesses that have suffered similar losses, collectively amounting to approximately $40,000–$50,000. Do not trust Mr. Waterman with your finances or important documentation. His actions have shown he is untrustworthy, and he has caused severe financial and emotional stress. I cannot recommend this business, and I strongly advise potential clients to be cautious.
