Client Reviews of Cassie L. Wingfield, AFSP

Very unprofessional during the four and a half months I worked with her. She started out very helpful and would answer any questions I had. Then as time went on, her attitude completely changed. Emails started being completely ignored, Slack questions went unanswered for up to twenty minutes while I had clients sitting in front of me, supplies stopped being sent to the kiosks that I worked at, and any time I reached out to her, I was met with extremely rude, hostile replies back. But the icing on the cake for me was when I asked her to void a client's return because they had already filed. I already knew she was ignoring my messages which was fine because I had informed another supervisor of the issue at hand so I knew if Cassie didn't get around to voiding the return then the other supervisor would. What ended up happening the next day was so beyond unprofessional it made me sick. I had informed Cassie that the client who needed to have their return voided was completely deaf and wasn't able to take phone calls on their personal phone. I come back from my day off to find that not only did Cassie ignore my messages altogether, she had instructed the tax preparer that had come in on my day off to call the client until they got an answer. I sent screenshots of the Slack messages between Cassie and the other tax preparer along with screenshots of the email I had sent to Cassie explaining how the client was deaf and my conversation with the other supervisor to Cassie's supervisor only to have absolutely nothing done about it. I'm usually a very peaceful person but when someone deliberately ignores a coworker telling them a client has a disability because they don't like that coworker, that's where I draw the line.
