I have used Ms Black's services for my taxes for the last two years. She's been professional, kind, and always nice to talk to. I appreciate all the help she's given me and I intend to continue using her services.

I want to first start off by saying that a one star rating is only given because it is required in order for me to write this review. I wouldn't recommend anyone to Alyson Black. She is a horrible accountant, she is not loyal to her customers and has no respect for her customers. My grandfather has given Alyson Black all of his tax information before COVID even happened. We have reached out to her multiple times through email, text, calls, and notes on her door. Now she has disconnected her phone from her office and is ignoring all of her customers. He has not received a single message back in regards to his taxes. He is sick with cancer and would like to have his money he is owed. He does not have time for childish games. We will be contacting the board into regards to her license and will be speaking with a lawyer to get to the bottom of this.

After delivering my 2019 tax documents to Ms. Black's office and handing them to her on March 16th, I have attempted to reach out to her to check on the status of my tax preparation via e-mail on multiple occasions, phone calls to her office which were not accepted because her phone mailbox was full, texts, letters one of which was certified, but all of these efforts were not responded to by Ms. Black. I even had a mutual friend call her father to ask him to contact Ms Black. He did but she did not respond to his texts and phone messages. After consulting with my lawyer, I have submitted a Tax Preparer Complaint Form 14157 to the IRS and one to the Mass. Board of Public Accounting in Boston. Ms. Black's professionalism to her business and clients is certainly poor. It is hard to believe that someone could act as irresponsibly as she has. Anyone reading this complaint and continuing to try to do business Ms. Black and Pioneer Valley Accounting is looking to have a problem.
