I was a client of Mario for over 5 years. I referred my parent, siblings and in-laws to him. I always paid he's fees promptly and never received/asked for a discount for all referrals I sent his way. I was shocked when he made an issue of an honest mistake (inadvertently used a closed account checkbook). I immediately tried to remedy that with cash reimbursement, which he agreed to but also demanded a $75 return check fee. Banks don't charge that much! He became difficult and additionally refused to correct my in-laws prior year's tax filing that HE made. His mistake cost them penalty fees and new tax preparer fees. Never mind that they patiently waited a year for him to fix his mistake which he never did. He's good...until he makes a mistake and then bails out on you leaving you high and dry. Loyalty means nothing to him.
