I went to Volunteer Lending in March 2022, Karla Justice prepared my income taxes for me. I gave her my direct deposit information. I never received my taxes. Went to the IRS building in Knoxville, TN to check on the status of my return, and found out that my refund was direct deposited into their account. I never received my refund. Volunteer Lending is no longer at the location. So, Karla Justice and Volunteer Lending basically received MY refund and never sent the remainder to me. That is unacceptable and that is theft over $1,000.
