Svetlana Kogan was hired and paid to file my business taxes for the business year 2016. Unfortunately she filed them wrong, using incorrect forms. This resulted into me receiving a letter from IRS , which explained the mistakes that were done. IRS gave me 30 days to correct the mistakes. Svetlana Kogan was contacted right away, and was given more than 3 weeks time to correctly her own mistake. During all that time, she not only made no corrections, but she lied to me on a numerous occasions, saying "i have an emergency" , then "my computer broke down", then "give me some more time" , then "it will be done tomorrow". This is when she decided to respond! Because i have have made more than 30 phone calls to her, sent emails and even text messages, and she does not even care to pick up her phone. Because i trusted her that she would correct her own mistake, i ended up missing IRS deadline, and now i am expecting to receive fees. I have done all that is required from me as a tax-payer, and paid for service that was not performed right. I have been sufferring stress, numerous phone calls, waisted time and i am now waiting to see what kund of monetary penalty i will be given. Do not trust Svetlana Kogan with your taxes!! Her negligence and lack of professionalism is to the extend that you will be at a situation where you are held responsible, whithout having done anything wrong!! Waste of time,waste of money, lies, negligence, stress and IRS fees is all i got from this individual. I wonder how this woman still has any rights to operate!!

Lana Kogan made an error on my VERY simple tax return for 2012. When I received a letter from the IRS stating I owed them almost 5,000 dollars I called Lana and she hung up on me. I went over to her home, where her office is located and she threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. She made the error(which was simply not putting in the information, even though she had the correct forms) because she is always talking about how she can't find a regular job in Las Vegas and always goes outside to smoke. Be very careful of this woman. She lies to the IRS about her clients all the time as well.
