If there was something lower than one star she would earn it. Irene has my returns since 3/22. She acknowledged receiving them via email due to COVID on 4/6. I reached out to her in June. No answer. July 7. Left a message, emailed. Irene called back and left a message saying they would be done tonight she HAS my paperwork. July 9th No returns. I left message again. She actually returned the call prob because I called her office AND cell number. She said my returns will be done Thursday now. Nothing July 10. No email, calls. Nothing. July 13th I call again in between my own job. Spoke with a juvenile that sounded 16 years old or younger. She took my name and said I can come in and sign them but being that I checked the IRS site they were never filed. I told the young girl this. Puts me on hold. Gets back on and said Irene will call back. Irene does call back and said she now can’t locate my documents I had emailed her on March, that she acknowledged and then acknowledge on 7/7 saying “they’re next in my pile of 20. “. Now I’m concerned. This person has my SSN on my documents and claims now they’re lost. On her computer somewhere. I send them again. She said she will do them tonight and call me at 9-9:30pm. Not a single call! I left her a message. I texted her. I emailed her. And no response. How is this person an actual accountant? Totally disorganized. Unprofessional. Loses your sensitive information. My info could be floating around in her messy office. Now they are due in two &&%# days and I have to go find someone else all because of the incompetence of one person who shouldn’t be in business no less licensed.

The most incompetent and rude accountant I have ever come across. She won't admit making mistakes despite clear evidence. She interrupts you and raises her voice just if you ask her a question. If you go to her office, be prepared to wait for hours in a depressing basement that is so dirty it makes you wonder why you came there in the first place. She made several mistakes which caused me significant issues with my tax returns. Bottom line: rude, incompetent and avoid at all cost.

Terrible experience. Waited several hours in her ugly dusty smelly (cat pee) basement as she does not keep her appointments. The phone kept ringing and voicemail accumulated with people trying to reach her apparently for many days. Irene came across as rude, unprofessional, and totally frazzled. She messed up my tax return and did not apologize. Will never come back.
